We took a stroll down Venice this Saturday and passed by Muscle Beach. Just the motivation we needed to knock off a quick workout from our list of things to do. If you are ever tight on time or can't access a gym here is a  simple yet effective workout routine to get after. I'm sure you've all heard of the the Kayla Itsines workout by now. We took her methodology and just tweaked it a bit for a full body beach workout.  Enjoy!

Workout Routine - 28 minutes 

Circuit One- 7 minutes 

  • 10 Push Ups 
  • 20 Jump Lunges 
  • 30 Bicycle Kicks
  • 40 Mountain Climbers
  • 50 Jumping Jacks 

Circuit Two - 7 minutes 

  • 15 Triceps Dips
  • 25 Lunges 
  • 35 Squats 
  • 45 Second Plank
  • 55 High Knees

Do as many rounds as possible in each circuit until the 7 minutes is up and repeat both circuits. 

Tip & Trick

Whenever my arms start to die from push ups, instead of letting your arms go and falling on your tummy, try downward dog. It will let your arms rest a bit and allow you to carry momentum back into the push up position.
